What is the difference between fragrances sold at high end stores and perfume outlets?

if it's the same brand ..then there is no diffrence except the price..but if it's a smell-alike then it may not last as long than the real thingWhat is the difference between fragrances sold at high end stores and perfume outlets?

i believe they're the same thing. the outlets do sell older fragrances sometimes. that could be a reason why they are cheaper. also i know they sell testers and they come without the box or without the cap of the bottle. i bought a large bottle of Perry for Men cologne for only $20 at an outlet. i saved about $80 because it was a (unused) tester.
aside from the prices, should be the same stuff
