Why do stores always end a perfume that everyone loves?

Why do places stop making a certain scent? Especially if it is highly liked? What is the point in doing that other than to make people frustrated? Why do stores always end a perfume that everyone loves?
Because they are updating their fragrances. Maybe the one that you love wasn't selling as much as others? Or maybe they will take the same basic scent, change it a little, and market it as something new- much like Philosophy did with Soap and Water when it became Pure Grace.

Please help?

I think its because if everyone loves it then they discontinue it then they get tons of requests for to come back THEN they can say its back by popular demand and people will buy more than one bottle at a time because they think it will be discontinued again soon. so it gives them more money.
Hmm

Maybe so people will buy it when it's around?

I imagine more people would buy it if it were around for a limited time, rather than it being around for a longer period.
because its the man trying to get you down.....though this man speaks with an accentuated S.....
